Lightspeed Systems is seeking a Student Safety Specialist (Content Reviewer) to join its remote team in the United States. The role involves monitoring and reviewing flagged online content to ensure student safety through Lightspeed’s AI-based web filtering and safety monitoring solutions.

You’ll analyze flagged content such as self-harm, violence, child sexual abuse material, and bullying to assess context and intent, communicate with schools, and advise on appropriate actions. This position requires strong communication skills, emotional resilience, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

The ideal candidate is motivated, organized, and passionate about protecting students online. Prior experience in counseling, trust & safety, or crisis prevention is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and responding to flagged alerts in real-time.

• Analyzing sensitive or concerning material objectively.

• Communicating with schools and emergency contacts.

• Collaborating with internal teams (Technical, Sales, Support).

• Identifying emerging trends and threats.

• Working flexible shifts (nights, weekends, holidays).
