Digital Transformation in Safety: NSC and Wolters Kluwer Launch New Survey
The National Safety Council (NSC) and Wolters Kluwer have announced a new partnership to explore digital transformation in safety, aiming to better understand how technology and innovation are shaping workplace safety in today’s world.
The collaboration will involve a large-scale survey of 1,500 safety leaders to learn about their evolving priorities, technology gaps, and barriers to digital adoption. According to NSC, the research will focus on several major areas including artificial intelligence, proactive risk management, business resilience, regulatory compliance, serious incidents and fatalities, and workforce transformation.
Jay Vietas, senior director of research at NSC, shared that the digital transformation in safety initiative will help organizations get ready for future challenges. He emphasized that the findings will guide safety professionals in developing solutions that not only address current needs but also anticipate and prevent tomorrow’s risks.
The results of the survey are expected to be released early next year. Alongside the findings, NSC and Wolters Kluwer plan to release a collection of best-practice resources designed to help safety leaders benchmark progress and accelerate innovation within their organizations.
