Job Overview:
The Quality Assurance Specialist examines course content for accuracy, consistency, and student engagement while ensuring compliance with institutional and accreditation guidelines. The position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced virtual environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Review course components during development to ensure alignment, formatting consistency, and regulatory compliance.
Evaluate course content from both instructor and student perspectives.
Apply advanced English, editing, and fact-checking skills to maintain content quality.
Participate in curriculum meetings to provide QA insights and recommendations.
Develop and maintain QA documentation, rubrics, and standard operating procedures.
Generate detailed reports on findings, trends, and continuous improvement suggestions.
Collaborate with teams to identify and resolve course development issues.
Assess student engagement and recommend interaction enhancements.

Qualifications:

Familiarity with Quality Matters or similar online teaching frameworks.
Expertise in QA methodologies, educational technology, and instructional design.
Advanced knowledge of APA 7 and academic writing standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and LMS platforms.
Excellent problem-solving, data analysis, and project management skills.
Compensation:
$70,000 per year (plus annual bonus eligibility based on performance and experience).
