In a remarkable recognition of leadership and commitment to safety, Councillor Naima Ali, the Worshipful Mayor of Southwark, has been awarded the prestigious Fellow Membership of the Occupational Safety and Health Association (OSHAssociation). The honor highlights her dedication to promoting occupational safety, health standards, and community well-being in Southwark and beyond.

In celebration of this achievement, the Mayor hosted an exclusive gathering in her chamber, welcoming Executive Leaders and Heads of Government officials from Africa.

The event served as a significant platform for discussions on strengthening global partnerships in occupational safety, security, and sustainable development.
During the ceremony, Tony Cullen, the OSHAssociation official commended Mayor Naima Ali for her exemplary leadership in advocating for safety initiatives, particularly in community-based health and safety programmes.
