Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Healthcare Assistant to join the Day Surgery Unit at Heatherwood Hospital, Ascot. The unit operates six days a week and consists of 22 individual day-case patient pods.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide compassionate, high-quality care, supporting registered nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team. Duties include admitting patients for surgery, accompanying patients to theatres, assisting with direct patient care, monitoring vital signs, supporting patients’ nutritional and fluid needs, collecting specimens, and maintaining patient dignity through person-centred care.
