Established in 2024, the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Student Training Centre at Abia State University Teaching Hospital (ABSUTH) Aba; the Centre accredited by the Occupational Safety and Health Association United Kingdom provides high quality Occupational Safety and Health training for students, interns, and health professionals.
It combines theoretical instruction with hands-on practical sessions, the centre is staffed by both faculty and industry experts. It collaborates with national and international bodies, as well as public and private sector partners, to promote safety awareness and professional development, thereby enhancing the culture of health and safety within ABSUTH and the broader community.
