Salary: Up to £40k (negotiable based on experience)
We are looking for a proactive SHEQ Coordinator to join a growing team in the UK electricity metering sector. This is a hands-on role focused on Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) compliance, offering a unique opportunity to help build management systems from the ground up. Sector experience isn’t essential – strong H&S experience is the key.
Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
Conduct risk assessments and support internal audits and inspections.
Assist with incident investigations, reporting, and documentation.
Work with field teams to embed a proactive safety culture and deliver toolbox talks.
Develop, review, and maintain SHEQ policies, procedures, and training materials.
Manage SHEQ databases and assist with reporting and regulatory compliance.
Support ongoing professional development initiatives within the team.
Person Specification
Strong H&S knowledge with NEBOSH or IOSH certification (or working towards).
Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and administrative skills.
Confident using Microsoft Office and departmental systems/databases.
Professional, calm, and supportive team player with strong communication skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritise effectively.
