OSIS is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Health Information Specialist to join its mission-driven team supporting community health centres across the United States. This fully remote, full-time position offers a flexible 32-hour work week—providing the balance you need while maintaining full benefits and professional growth opportunities.

As a Health Information Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the HRSA HCCN Collective, Quality Consultants, and OSIS Members through effective healthcare data management. Your responsibilities will include collecting, analysing, and presenting healthcare data to drive performance improvement, troubleshooting data inconsistencies, and applying clinical workflow best practices. You’ll also design and maintain reports using platforms such as Smartsheet, ConnectWise, and various Microsoft tools while coordinating with internal teams to meet project deliverables.

Candidates should have at least an Associate degree in Health Information Management or three or more years of relevant experience in healthcare technology and data reporting systems. A Bachelor’s degree and CEHRT certification (NextGen preferred) are highly desirable, and experience with FQHCs or non-profit organisations will be considered an asset. Familiarity with CMS and State Promoting Interoperability programs, as well as Microsoft Excel certification, will further strengthen your application. If you’re not already CEHRT certified, OSIS offers support to achieve certification within six months of hire.

This role requires minimal travel (less than 10%) and a reliable home office setup with cable or fibre internet (minimum download speed of 20 Mbps and upload of 5 Mbps).

Compensation: $49,700 – $76,500 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
