No, Please check back with us after you have been offered a degree programme in the higher institution and we recommend you become involved in OSHAssociation Student Chapter as soon as possible and start building your resume for future opportunities.
The core degrees would be those in occupational safety, health, and environment. If your degree is not specifically an OHS degree, you are still eligible to apply for our scholarships. If you do, it is your responsibility in your application to make the case to our committee about why your programme or your focus relates to our mission. You should make the case in the narrative section, calling attention to safety-related coursework, involvement with an OSHAssociation Student Chapter, work experience, etc. If applicable, your letter of recommendation should also help you make the case. Demonstrating a vested interest in safety will establish your eligibility for our scholarships, the above points may help your scholarship approval.
